Tasting Notes

Light golden colour with chalky reflects. The soft effervescence highlight the brightness of this wine.

The nose is creamy and full. We smell a beautiful balance between the unctuosity of the red grapes and the citrus aromas from the Chardonnay, giving its finesse to the wine. Subtle notes of pastries such as apricot pie are also perceived.

The attack is direct with a beautiful acidic freshness, ending with  orange confit notes. A beautiful pairing between mouthwatering roundness and a sharp freshness during the whole tasting. A slight bitterness in the final taste accentuate the complexity of this champagne.

Food Pairing

This cuvée, will be perfect for an aperitif or to pair with a side salad and a white meat. It has a nice potential for ageing but is already pleasant to drink.

Liqueur de dégorgement

The « liqueur de dégorgement » is made with our Chardonnay from the precedent harvest. The wine is aged in 225L oak barrels for four to six months.
